Sludge Treatment
In larger sewage treatment plants, sludge treatment is almost exclusively anaerobic. The construction and operating costs can be optimized by using additional treatment stages such as pre-dewatering or sewage sludge disintegration.
The energy-rich sewage gas that arises during sludge digestion is used by the KASFIKI INTERNATIONAL WASTE MANAGEMENT SINGLE MEMBER S.A., preferably in combined heat and power plants, such as CHP plants, micro gas turbines and fuel cells.
